James L Williams Middle East is looking for an experienced ERP Specialist (JD Edwards) to drive the functional design, implementation, optimization, and governance of our ERP platform. This role will ensure the ERP system effectively supports business operations, internal controls, regulatory compliance, and organizational growth across Finance, HR, Commercial, Cost Control, Procurement, Projects, and Inventory functions. Key Responsibilities: ERP Functional Responsibilities Lead ERP implementation, enhancements, stabilization, and ongoing support Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and ERP service providers/OEM Gather and translate business requirements into system configurations Configure and manage core ERP modules Oversee data migration, master data governance, and integrations Manage change requests, upgrades, and functional documentation Develop reports, SOPs, and process workflows Business Process Optimization Review and optimize end-to-end ERP-driven processes Identify automation opportunities and eliminate inefficiencies Ensure accurate integration between ERP and other systems Monitor system performance and recommend improvements Provide ongoing functional support and troubleshooting Stakeholder & Change Management Conduct stakeholder workshops and user training Drive user adoption and change management initiatives Develop dashboards, reports, and data entry forms Support UAE and KSA offices and project sites Coordinate with IT and security teams to ensure compliance with Information Security and Cybersecurity policies Compliance & Controls Ensure ERP processes align with financial controls and audit requirements (UAE/KSA) Maintain role-based access control and segregation of duties Support internal and external audit activities Bachelor s degree in Finance or Information Technology Minimum 5 years of ERP functional experience in JD Edwards Strong hands-on configuration experience in medium to large organizations Deep understanding of finance, project accounting, and supply chain within engineering/contracting businesses Experience supporting audits, controls, and regulatory compliance Mandatory: Experience in engineering, construction, or project-based environments Preferred Oracle JD Edwards certification Experience in project accounting and cost control Experience supporting UAE and KSA operations Project management certification
