Entertainer Position Title : Entertainer Department : Operations Reports To : Venue Manager / Duty Manager Job Summary The Entertainer is responsible for creating fun, interactive, and memorable experiences for children and families visiting Boo Boo Laand. This role involves leading games and activities, performing in character appearances, hosting birthday parties, participating in live shows, and ensuring guests enjoy a magical and engaging experience while maintaining the highest standards of safety and customer service. Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Entertainment * Welcome children and families with enthusiasm and a positive attitude. * Lead interactive games, activities, and entertainment sessions. * Perform as Boo Boo Laand characters or mascots during scheduled appearances and events. * Engage children through storytelling, dancing, singing, arts and crafts, and creative play. * Encourage guest participation while creating a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Birthday Parties \& Events * Host birthday parties and special events according to Boo Boo Laand standards. * Coordinate party activities, games, and entertainment. * Assist with cake celebrations, photo opportunities, and guest interactions. * Ensure birthday experiences exceed guest expectations. Guest Experience * Deliver exceptional customer service to all guests. * Build positive relationships with children and parents. * Respond professionally to guest requests and direct concerns to supervisors when necessary. * Promote a welcoming, safe, and magical environment. Safety \& Supervision * Supervise play areas during entertainment activities. * Ensure children follow attraction and safety rules. * Report accidents, incidents, or unsafe conditions immediately. * Follow all health, safety, and child safeguarding procedures. Operations Support * Assist with seasonal events, school visits, workshops, and promotional activities. * Help prepare activity areas before events and restore them afterward. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of entertainment equipment and activity spaces. * Support other operational teams during busy periods when required. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience in entertainment, childcare, hospitality, recreation, education, theatre, or customer service is preferred. * Experience working with children is highly desirable.
