Engineering Manager

Job Purpose Lead the Engineering Department to support project delivery by managing engineering activities, technical coordination, and design development while ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Manage engineering activities from tender through project completion. Review project designs and oversee preparation of shop drawings, technical submittals, and coordinated drawings. Support the estimating team during tendering with technical input and design reviews. Define project scope, monitor engineering progress, and track long-lead materials. Obtain required approvals and NOCs from relevant authorities, including RTA and DEWA. Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams. Resolve technical and design issues to minimize project risks, delays, and additional costs. Supervise engineering staff and ensure timely delivery of engineering documentation. Participate in project meetings, monitor engineering milestones, and support project handover with accurate as-built documentation. Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, quality procedures, and company policies. Compliance & Ethics Comply with the Company s Code of Conduct and Anti-Bribery & Corruption policies. Complete mandatory compliance training and report any suspected policy violations. Quality Responsibilities Adhere to Quality Assurance and Quality Control procedures. Ensure all engineering deliverables meet project specifications and client requirements. Qualifications Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering. Professional engineering membership/certification is an advantage. Valid UAE Driving Licence. Experience Minimum 10 years of experience in Roads & Infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge of Dubai authority requirements, including RTA, DEWA, and other regulatory agencies. Proven experience managing engineering teams and coordinating multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
