Job description

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Emirati Sweets Chef to join for one of our prestigious Restaurant in Al Ain. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in preparing authentic Emirati and Arabic foods, sweets, breads, and snacks while maintaining excellent food quality, hygiene, and presentation standards. The candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and support daily food production operations professionally. Key Responsibilities • Prepare traditional Emirati and Arabic foods, sweets, breads, and snacks • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and food presentation • Follow kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards • Support daily kitchen production and operational activities • Properly handle, store, and manage ingredients and food items • Maintain cleanliness and organization within the kitchen area • Work efficiently during busy operational hours • Assist the kitchen team in meeting daily production targets Local (Emirati) Food Experience Required Candidates should have experience in preparing: • Luqaimat • Aseeda • Khabeesa • Um Ali • Reqaq Bread • Jebab Bread • Samosa • Sago • Other traditional Emirati and Arabic foods Previous experience(1-3 years) in Arabic or Emirati food preparation Knowledge of traditional local sweets, breads, and snacks Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment Immediate joiners preferred Good teamwork and communication skills Positive attitude and willingness to learn Basic understanding of food hygiene and safety standards Local Food Experience Required Candidates should have experience in preparing: • Luqaimat • Aseeda • Khabeesa • Um Ali • Reqaq Bread • Jebab Bread • Samosa • Sago • Other traditional Emirati and Arabic foods • Luqaimat with date syrup • Luqaimat with honey • Luqaimat with syrup • Cheese Luqaimat with any sauce • Arish Special Luqaimat (Luqaimat stuffed with cheese and covered with crispy vermicelli with a special sauce) • Plain Jbab bread • Jbab bread with honey • Plain Khameer bread • Khameer bread with honey • Khameer bread with cheese • Khameer bread with cheese and honey • Raqqaq bread with cheese • Raqqaq bread with honey • Raqqaq bread with cheese and honey • Raqqaq bread with cheese and daqoos • Raqqaq bread with cheese and eggs • Raqqaq bread with cheese and Omani potatoes • Raqqaq bread with cheese, eggs, Omani potatoes • Raqqaq bread with cheese, eggs, Omani potatoes, and daqoos • Balaleet with an egg disc • Nakhi • Sago • Khabisa • Asida • Umm Ali • Qurs Aqili • Cheese Samosa • Cheese Samosa Zaatar • Cheese and Egg Samosa • Meat Samosa • Musakhan Samosa • Butter Chicken Samosa • Vegetable Samosa • Pasta Chicken Pasta • Meat Pasta • Vegetable Marqouqa • Chicken Marqouqa • Meat Marqouqa • Vegetable Thareed • Chicken Thareed • Meat Thareed • Karak (Small Cup) • Karak (Large Cup) • Emirati Coffee • Turkish Coffee (Small Cup) • Turkish Coffee (Large Cup) • Red Beans • Sulaimani Tea (Small Cup) • Sulaimani Tea (Large Cup)
