Electrician- Light vehicle

• Receive and review job cards and work instructions from the Workshop Supervisor. • Understand the assigned repair tasks and clarify any technical requirements before commencing work. • Diagnose Electrical faults and carry out repairs within the allocated time while maintaining high quality standards. • Complete all assigned work as specified in the job card and accurately complete, sign, and submit all required checklists and documentation. • Notify the Workshop Supervisor promptly when spare parts, materials, or additional resources are required. • Refer to technical manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation to ensure repairs are carried out according to approved procedures. • Identify additional defects, repair requirements, or non-conformities during the repair process and report them immediately to the Workshop Supervisor. Record all findings on the job card. • Ensure all repaired vehicles or equipment are clean, fully functional, and all systems, accessories, and settings are restored before handover. • Follow manufacturer specifications, company policies, and standard operating procedures at all times. • Comply with all Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System (QHSEMS) requirements and maintain a safe working environment. • Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of automotive electrical systems and components. • Strong understanding of vehicle electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures.
