Electrical Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and reliable **Electrical Technician** with 2 to 3 years of hands\-on experience in a production or manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical systems, machinery, and equipment to ensure continuous and efficient plant operations. Key Responsibilities * **Maintenance \& Repair:** Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostic testing, and routine checks on production machinery, control panels, transformers, and industrial motors. * **Troubleshooting:** Diagnose electrical issues quickly during power outages or system malfunctions to minimize operational downtime. * **Installation:** Install, wire, and modify electrical conduits, control circuits, switchgears, and power distribution systems according to engineering standards. * **Safety \& Compliance:** Adhere strictly to plant safety protocols, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, and national electrical codes. * **Record Keeping:** Maintain logs of maintenance schedules, repairs performed, and electrical equipment inventory. * **Collaboration:** Work closely with mechanical technicians, operators, and plant supervisors to support continuous production flow. Qualifications \& Requirements * **Experience:** 2–3 years of proven experience as an Electrical Technician within a **production or manufacturing industry**. * **Education:** ITI / Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent vocational training. * **Technical Skills:** Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, drive systems, circuit diagrams, and wiring schematics. * **Work Schedule:** Willingness to work **10\-hour shifts** as scheduled. * **Physical Fitness:** Ability to work in an industrial manufacturing environment, climb ladders, and lift heavy equipment when required.
