Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai for an Electrical Technician/Installer. The role involves installing, testing and commissioning electrical and low-voltage systems, inclusing Home Automation, Audio-Video, Lighting Control, Networking, Security Systems, low-voltage Distributional Panels. The Technician/Installer will work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure proper installation, system reliability and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
· Install and configure automation, lighting control, audio-video and network systems according technical drawings and specifications.
· Perform wiring, cabling, termination and equipment mounting in residential and commercial environments.
· Clean and maintain tools and equipment after use to ensure a safe and organized worksite.
· Take detailed notes of any on-site changes or issues and communicate them promptly to the design and engineering teams.
· Ensure all client property is protected during installation and maintain a professional, respectful presence on-site.
· Follow company dress code, including wearing the AV Smart Integration uniform at all times.
· Support system testing, troubleshooting and on-site commissioning.
· Ensure all installations meet safety standards and quality requirements.
· Collaborate with engineers, project managers and designers to deliver efficient solutions.
· Follow UAE electrical codes, safety procedures and company standards at all times.
Qualifications
· Diploma or technical certificate in Electrical, Electronics or related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical or low-voltage installations.
· Knowledge of wiring, cabling and termination for automation, AV, network systems.
· Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
· Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills and teamwork.
· Good communication skills in English (Arabic or Hindi is a plus).
· Valid UAE driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with Crestron, KNX, Lutron, RTI or similar systems
· Familiarity with networking basics
· Experience working on luxury residential or hospitality projects
