Electrical Engineer - Madinah

**Overview** ------------ AtkinsRéalis is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design review, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and delivery of major high\-rise residential, commercial, hospitality, mixed\-use, and large\-scale building developments in Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will ensure all electrical systems are designed, installed, tested, and commissioned in compliance with project specifications, Saudi regulations, international standards, quality requirements, and project schedules. **Your role** ------------- * Review and supervise electrical construction activities for high\-rise and large\-scale building projects. * Ensure electrical works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and industry standards. * Conduct site inspections and verify the quality of electrical installations. * Witness testing, commissioning, energization, and performance verification activities. * Review electrical load calculations, short\-circuit studies, voltage drop calculations, and power distribution schemes. * Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, mechanical engineers, contractors, and utility providers to ensure seamless system integration. * Monitor contractor progress and ensure compliance with project schedules and milestones. * Identify construction issues and provide practical engineering solutions to maintain project progress. * Support authority inspections and utility coordination activities. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements throughout project execution. * Monitor installation quality and address defects, deficiencies, and non\-conformances. * Review operation and maintenance manuals, testing reports, commissioning records, and as\-built documentation. * Participate in design review meetings, progress meetings, technical workshops, and coordination sessions. * Assist in value engineering initiatives and recommend cost\-effective electrical solutions. * Support project handover activities and defect liability period inspections. * Prepare technical reports, inspection reports, progress updates, and engineering recommendations. * Monitor implementation of energy\-efficient and sustainable electrical systems. **About you** ------------- * Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university. * Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred. * Registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is preferred. * Professional Engineer (PE), Chartered Engineer (CEng), or equivalent professional certification is an advantage. * LEED AP, Mostadam, or sustainability\-related certifications are desirable. * 10 to 15 years of professional Electrical Engineering experience. * Minimum 5 years of experience on major high\-rise and large\-scale building projects. * Previous experience in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is highly preferred. * Experience working with consultants, PMCs, developers, and contractors. * Demonstrated experience during construction, testing, commissioning, and handover phases. * Experience in electrical systems testing, commissioning, energization, and performance verification. * Strong understanding of sustainable building technologies and energy\-efficient design principles. * Ability to review engineering calculations, technical specifications, and contractor submissions. **Rewards \& benefits** ----------------------- Explore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
