Electrical Engineer

• Prepare Feasibility Study Reports, Bid, Basic and Detail Engineering deliverables for CCPP, ICE and Renewable Energy Projects, producing quality deliverables at every stage. • Prepare Design Basis, Electrical Control Philosophy, Technical Specification for Control & Relay Panel, SCADA and other monitoring systems, Fault/Disturbance Recorder, Tariff Metering Panel, PLCC, Communication System, DC & UPS System, DC/UPS/Control/ Communication Cable, Telecom system,etc. • Prepare SLD, Protection SLD, DC/UPS SLD, Control & Protection Schematics, SCADA Architecture Diagram, Communication Network Diagram, Electrical Layout drawings. • Prepare DC/UPS/Control/ Communication Cable Schedule, Inter-connection Schedule and Drum-cutting Schedule. • Prepare Vendor Evaluation Report and Technical Bid Evaluation Report. • Responsible for the coordination and communication of power plant connecting to the power grid. • Co-ordinate with Owner / Owner’s Engineers / Vendors for timely approval of design documents. • Provide site support to resolve issues for timely completion of project within budgeted cost. • Perform cost optimization. • Calculate and select the CT ratio, and determine the CT/PT capacity. • UPS and DC system sizing. • At least “5 years executed projects” detail design experience for CCPP, ICE project. Middle-East experience preferred. • With 220kV and above substation protection, monitoring, measurement, metering and other electrical design experience. • Have much experience for Telecom system; • Have experience for Generator protection; • Conversant with International Code and Standards like IEC, IEEE, NFPA, NEMA, ANSI, BS, etc. • Conversant with Electrical Engineering Software like AutoCAD and PDMS. • Fluent in English Communication – both written and spoken. Should be able to communicate clearly and effectively with Owner/Vendor to sort out and resolve issues and maintain on-time delivery. • Should be a team player and communicate clearly with the project manager and other engineering disciplines for resolving interface issues and maintain on-time delivery.
