Job description
Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating environmental and ecological projects, ensuring activities are properly planned, implemented, monitored, and documented. The role works with project teams, environmental specialists, government agencies, communities, and other stakeholders to support sustainable environmental initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate the planning and implementation of ecological and environmental projects.
Develop project schedules, work plans, budgets, and progress reports.
Monitor project activities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and project objectives.
Coordinate environmental assessments, surveys, field studies, and conservation activities.
Work closely with environmental scientists, engineers, consultants, contractors, and community representatives.
Organize fieldwork, site visits, meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations.
Track project milestones, deliverables, budgets, and resource requirements.
Maintain accurate project documentation, environmental records, and monitoring reports.
Identify environmental risks, project delays, and operational issues and coordinate appropriate corrective actions.
Assist in developing environmental management and conservation plans.
Coordinate permits, regulatory requirements, and documentation with relevant government agencies.
Monitor biodiversity, habitat restoration, waste management, and other ecological initiatives as required.
Prepare presentations and regular project updates for management and stakeholders.
Promote sustainable practices and environmental awareness among project personnel and communities.
Support grant applications, research activities, procurement, and other administrative requirements.
Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to environmental standards.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Ecology, Biology, Environmental Management, Natural Resources, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in environmental, ecological, conservation, or project coordination work.
Knowledge of environmental regulations, conservation practices, and sustainability principles.
Strong project management, organizational, and documentation skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
Strong analytical and problem\-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Willingness to conduct fieldwork and travel to project sites when required.
Pay: KD780\.000 per month
