E-Commerce Manager (Shopify)

We are looking for an **E\-Commerce Manager** to build and lead JM Foods’ own direct\-to\-consumer online store. We are taking another run at this search because this role matters. The right person needs to bring strong Shopify experience, real D2C exposure, and the ability to own the channel from setup to scale. This is not a marketplace\-management role. The focus is on building, operating and growing our own Shopify\-based e\-commerce business. This role covers customer acquisition, merchandising, conversion, order flow, fulfilment, technology, reporting and customer experience. **What You Will Own** * Shopify setup, store structure and day\-to\-day management. * Customer acquisition, performance marketing, SEO, email/CRM and retention. * Product mix, merchandising, pricing, promotions and conversion improvement. * Order management, payment flows, fulfilment coordination and customer experience. * Tech stack, apps, integrations, automation, reporting and process improvement. * Vendor, agency, platform and third\-party partner management. * Coordination across marketing, sales, procurement, warehouse, logistics, finance and customer service. **The Best Fit** You should bring: * Extensive hands\-on **Shopify experience**. * Proven experience building, managing or scaling a **direct\-to\-consumer e\-commerce business**. * Strong understanding of customer acquisition, conversion, retention, merchandising and pricing. * Practical exposure to order management, fulfilment workflows, customer experience and reporting. * Ability to work across technology, marketing, operations and commercial priorities. * Experience with e\-commerce tools, integrations, automation and performance dashboards. * Strong ownership mindset, problem\-solving ability and comfort working in a fast\-moving environment. * Experience in **gourmet, grocery, food, FMCG or retail e\-commerce** is mandatory. **Role Details** * **Location:** Based at our office in Dubai Investment Park. * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8:30 am \- 6:00 pm; Saturday half\-day. * **Travel:** Local and international travel may be required from time to time. **Note** * Candidates should be able to relocate within a practical commuting distance of the workplace. * Remote or hybrid work may be considered only for an exceptional candidate where the arrangement suits the role and the business requirements. * The role is open to strong candidates who may not meet the experience requirements exactly but can clearly demonstrate the skill set, judgment, aptitude, and attitude required to succeed. * Only complete applications, including all screening questions, will be considered.
