Duct Fabricator

Fabricate HVAC ductwork, fittings, and accessories as per approved shop drawings and fabrication details. Read and interpret HVAC fabrication drawings, duct layouts, and cutting schedules. Measure, mark, cut, bend, fold, notch, and assemble GI, stainless steel, and aluminum duct sheets using appropriate fabrication tools and machinery. Install duct stiffeners, flanges, cleats, corners, and reinforcement as specified in fabrication drawings. Operate fabrication equipment such as guillotine shears, press brakes, Pittsburgh lock machines, lock formers, notchers, rollers, grooving machines, and spot welding machines safely and efficiently. Ensure fabricated duct sections comply with approved dimensions, tolerances, and quality requirements. Inspect fabricated components for defects before dispatch to the installation team. Minimize material wastage by following approved cutting plans and fabrication procedures. Maintain fabrication tools, machines, and work areas in good operating condition. Coordinate with the HVAC Foreman regarding fabrication priorities and production schedules. Assist in loading, unloading, and proper storage of fabricated duct sections. Comply with company HSE policies and wear appropriate PPE during fabrication activities. ITI / Trade Certificate in Sheet Metal, Mechanical, HVAC, or an equivalent technical trade. Minimum 3 5 years of experience as a Duct Fabricator in HVAC projects. Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, LNG, or Industrial EPC projects is preferred. Experience in fabrication of GI, stainless steel, and aluminum ductwork is highly desirable.
