Draftsman

Create and develop engineering drawings, illustrations, diagrams, and technical sketches. Use engineering design tools and software to transform concepts and ideas into accurate technical drawings and visual representations. Key Duties & Responsibilities • Prepare Engineering Drawings: Develop and produce all required engineering drawings for projects, including structural, architectural, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other technical drawings. • Use Engineering Software: Create, update, and revise engineering drawings using software such as AutoCAD , Revit , MicroStation , and other drafting tools. • Coordinate with Other Departments: Work closely with designers, engineers, contractors, and project management teams to ensure effective coordination and project integration. • Review Materials and Costs: Assist in reviewing project materials, equipment, and associated costs when required. • Report Project Progress: Prepare periodic reports on work progress, potential issues, and their impact on the project schedule. • Ensure Compliance with Engineering Standards: Adhere to applicable local and international engineering standards, codes, and safety requirements while preparing engineering drawings. Apply Now Qualifications & Experience • Bachelor's degree in a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Skills • Technical Drawing Skills: Strong knowledge of engineering drafting principles and technical drawing standards. • Software Proficiency: Experience using engineering design software such as AutoCAD , Revit , and other relevant applications. • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of construction materials, building methods, and engineering concepts, including load, stress, and vibration analysis. • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, consultants, clients, and project teams. • Quality Assurance: High attention to detail and commitment to producing work that meets required quality standards. • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze technical data and understand the engineering and technical aspects of projects.
