About the role We are seeking an experienced Document Controller to join our team in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, controlling, and maintaining project documentation throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with company procedures and client requirements. Duties & Responsibilities: • Establish, implement, and maintain document control procedures in line with project and company standards. • Manage the receipt, registration, distribution, tracking, filing, and archiving of all project documentation. • Ensure all incoming and outgoing documents are accurately recorded within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS). • Maintain document registers, revision histories, transmittals, and approval workflows. • Coordinate with project teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure timely submission and retrieval of project documentation. • Monitor document status and ensure controlled distribution of the latest approved revisions. • Generate document control reports and dashboards for project management. • Support project teams during audits and ensure document compliance with quality management requirements. • Maintain confidentiality and security of all project records and documentation. • Ensure project documentation is archived in accordance with company and client retention policies. Key Skills & Requirements: • Minimum 8 years of overall experience as a Document Controller. • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. • Proven experience using Aconex EDMS for document management is essential. • Consultancy experience is highly desirable. • Previous experience delivering mixed-use, residential, and resort developments. • Strong understanding of document control procedures, workflows, and quality management systems. • Excellent organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word. • Strong communication and coordination skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment. Qualifications, Skills and Training: • Diploma or bachelor s degree in business administration, Information Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. • Experience working on large-scale, multi-disciplinary construction projects. • Familiarity with ISO quality management systems and project documentation standards.
