Document Controller

The Document Controller is responsible for managing, organizing, and maintaining all project documentation throughout the project lifecycle. This role ensures that all engineering drawings, contracts, technical documents, correspondence, and reports are accurately recorded, distributed, updated, and archived in accordance with company procedures and document control standards. The Document Controller works closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and site teams to ensure timely access to the latest approved documents while maintaining document confidentiality and version control. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain and manage the project's document control system. • Register, track, distribute, and archive all incoming and outgoing project documents. • Ensure proper document numbering, revision control, and filing. • Coordinate with consultants and contractors regarding document submissions. • Monitor document approval workflows and follow up on pending approvals. • Prepare regular document status reports. • Ensure compliance with company document control procedures. • Maintain both electronic and hard-copy filing systems. • Support project teams by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation. • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. • 3 5 years of experience as a Document Controller in construction or real estate development projects. • Experience using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS) such as Aconex, SharePoint, or Primavera. • Strong knowledge of document control procedures and ISO standards. • Excellent organizational and communication skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office. • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
