**Overall Role Purpose**
In this role, you will provide strategic input and lead the implementation of the Talent Management strategy, ensuring the design, execution, and management of key processes to attract, select, integrate, engage, and retain top talent. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining robust HR performance controls across the MENA region, driving a holistic performance management approach in alignment with DHL Express Global and DPDHL policies and regulations. Additionally, you will lead the Employee Opinion Survey (EOS) and Great Place to Work (GPTW) initiatives for Express MENA, ensuring effective analysis, follow\-up activities, and actions that contribute to overall business success. A key aspect of your role will be to drive Employee Engagement programs that enhance workplace culture, foster high performance, and deliver measurable business impact. You will also define and integrate the MENA strategy for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion \& Belonging (DEIB) and Health \& Wellbeing.
**Your Tasks:**
**Talent Management**
* Support the MENA business with Talent Acquisition, selection and Onboarding processes and tools for new employees.
* Develop and lead consistent implementation of Talent Management (TM) initiatives and programs including elements such as frameworks, integration with other processes, key initiatives and budgets to educate, motivate and engage employees across levels.
* Ensure preparation and provide regular TM dashboards and track talent initiatives.
* Identify critical roles that are vital to company and define a solid plan for filling these roles with capable people.
* Track and analyze talent pool data to raise awareness and identify shortages (current or anticipated) in key markets/regions. Work collaboratively with country’s/regions to fill these gaps.
* Develop and drive MENA Talent Management practices throughout the Express Business unit in the region, ensuring that the talent management practices are consistent and adhere to DPDHL guidelines.
**Performance Management**
* Prepare and facilitate Executive/Employee Development LEADS Reviews and dialogues with Business Managers.
* Develop and oversee execution of LEADS succession planning tools and processes for key roles.
* Design and roll out professional development paths for high potential and implement Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to all employees.
* Track development opportunities, consult and advise on the application and use of career planning tools and frameworks to Business Managers.
* Resolve complex issues related to TM, integration of key processes and data analytics.
* Keep up to date with industry best practices and enhance TM process and system effectiveness through process improvements.
* Drive continuous Improvement in the Performance Management processes.
* Use MYTW tool to drive the administration and analytics.
**Employee Voice**
* Support the regional HR Managers in Managing the full project life cycle for EOS Survey, GPTW, covering all MENA Express employees (incl. set\-up, execution and follow\-up processes, communication into the region, data management, reporting and follow\-ups to MENA Express Board members).
* Manage the Employee Engagement agenda for the region and coordinate implementation of frameworks, training and tools (e.g. Recognition framework).
* Leading the deep dive analysis \& integrating all sources of the Employee Voice to come forward with advice for actions at regional \& country level.
* Support the region in Driving the statistical analysis and research on EOS KPIs / GPTW and eNPA for Employee engagement \& business results and use outcomes to challenge regional and country management teams on leadership behavior and change activities.
**Employee Engagement:**
* Oversee design and implementation of DEIB strategy for MENA, providing thought leadership to shape and refine the Global \& Corporate DEIB strategy with clear KPIs.
* Responsibility for the Internal Employer Branding agenda and topics.
* Support the MENA with rolling out and planning EOY events and major celebrations to boost employee engagement.
* Define the Health \& Well Being strategy for MENA and translate into action at regional \& local level.
* Leading Can Do initiatives and DHLs Got Heart for the region.
**People Management**
* Develop strong (virtual) relationships with the local HRD professionals within MENA to drive their strategies on various topics.
* Support and develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness.
* Lead a team of HRD professionals.
**Your Profile:**
* Minimum 8 years in an HR role.
* Degree\-level qualification on Human Resources is desirable.
* Extensive HR experience in MENA, matrix organization with Stakeholder at different levels.
* Strong project management capability and skills with the ability to multitask in changing environments.
* Ability to prioritize in a complex environment.
* Maintain a high degree of cultural sensitivity.
* Proven ability to identify and analyze trends from both business and HR management information.
* Proven ability to establish credibility and be able to influence at senior levels.
* Effective communication skills with a diverse spectrum of levels and groups of people .
* Ability to constructively challenge, negotiate, and clearly explain in situations where needed.
* Capable of building collaborative relationships.
* Possess a strong presence with the ability to impact and influence local HR people.
* Possess strong business acumen and process skills.
* High customer orientation and able to build relationships.
* Strategic thinking capabilities and at the same time strong execution skilled to meet annual targets.
* Hands\-on mentality, proactive.
* Sound business judgment when developing and implementing HR development.
