This role combines hands-on imaging with departmental quality and operational support, making it well suited for an experienced technologist who values both clinical practice and program excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform plain film radiography and diagnostic ultrasound procedures, including FAST, RUQ, OB/GYN, testicular, abdominal, vascular, and DVT evaluations that support patient diagnosis, treatment, and referral decisions.
• Position patients appropriately, obtain high-quality diagnostic images, compare prior studies, document findings, and ensure timely transmission of images for consultant radiologist review.
• Collaborate with physicians, consultant radiologists, and interdisciplinary clinical teams, providing written and verbal communication on imaging findings and escalating studies requiring immediate clinical attention.
• Support safe, compliant imaging operations by following established protocols, maintaining radiation safety standards, and contributing to continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Support imaging department operations through policy development, staff competency initiatives, quality monitoring, equipment planning and maintenance, resource management, and operational reporting.
• Maintain imaging records, diagnostic evaluation reports, patient files, and equipment readiness while supporting efficient workflow and high-quality patient care delivery.
You'll step into a role where your imaging expertise and clinical judgment directly support patient care across a well-structured international healthcare program.
5+ years of recent practical imaging experience.
ARRT certification or home-country equivalent required; BLS certification required or must be obtained as provided.
Experience supporting imaging operations, quality initiatives, and program planning required.
Experience performing standard radiographic procedures, including portable and OR imaging, with the ability to obtain optimal diagnostic images.
Ability to function independently, exercise sound clinical judgment, and support quality-focused imaging operations.
On-call participation required as part of a rotation if needed.
Unaccompanied assignment; ability to obtain a base security clearance, relocate to Doha, Qatar, and maintain a valid passport throughout the assignment required.
Preferred Sonography experience, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular ultrasound imaging.
Experience with digital image acquisition, transmission, and teleradiology workflows.
Experience supporting healthcare services within international, military-connected, government-supported, or operationally complex healthcare environments.
