Design Engineer

**DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULT** is looking for a **Design Engineer** in **Doha\-Qatar** **Key Accountabilities** * Review the technical submissions made by the supplier in line with the clients specifications and various international standards. * Conduct project engineering work, such as studies, conceptual and preliminary design, design, and post\-design services. * ***Schedule submittals, shop drawings review and material approval within project timeframe.*** * Coordinate between different suppliers for compatibility of various components. Coordinate with the client for getting the approval for the materials to be supplied. * Review drawings and documents required for getting the approvals. * Organize the feasibility study and details survey for the route proposals, advise alternate proposals and finalize the most suitable route. * Develop detailed plans for testing / commissioning of all items and finalize the required quantity of materials based on the route design. * ***Perform design calculations as per project specifications.*** * Finalize the electrical design for the transmission network to suit the required power transmission capacity. * Organize the required certificate of the materials. * Attend technical discussion with the client and contractors at site meetings and to provide technical support for site activities. * **Conduct data analysis, report writing, and presentations to clients and agencies.** * Identify latest technologies suitable for the project. * **Supervise the draughtsman in preparing drawings.** * Mentor and train the design team. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. **Qualification \& Background Knowledge:** * A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/ Power/Civil engineering is the minimum formal education required for this position. * **Should have good knowledge of AutoCAD, Micro\-Station and other Design softwares (structural).** * ***MINIMUM EXPERIENCE 3\-5 years experience.*** Interested candidates share CV through email ** or** WhatsApp on **\** Work Location: In person
