Design Coordinator / Design Project Manager (Jeddah-Makkah region)

Setec is seeking an experienced **Design Coordinator / Design Project Manager** to support the delivery of a major and highly sensitive Development Master Plan project located in the Jeddah\-Makkah region. Working within an international multidisciplinary design environment, the successful candidate will act as Setec's on\-site representative, coordinating technical activities, managing stakeholder interfaces, and ensuring seamless collaboration between local project partners and Setec's engineering teams. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to a large\-scale urban development initiative while working with leading international consultants and public stakeholders in Saudi Arabia. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Coordinate and oversee Setec's design scope across multiple engineering disciplines. * Act as the primary interface between Setec and project stakeholders. * Participate in technical meetings with clients, consultants, and relevant authorities. * Gather, consolidate, and communicate project requirements, decisions, and technical information to Setec's engineering teams. * Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of design outputs, reports, submissions, and technical deliverables. * Facilitate communication among multidisciplinary project teams and support design integration. * Prepare presentations and technical updates for clients and stakeholders. * Support stakeholder management activities related to Setec's services. * Contribute to business development initiatives by maintaining strong relationships with key public and private sector stakeholders in the Jeddah and Makkah regions. **Candidate Profile** --------------------- ### **Education** * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline. ### **Experience** * 10 to 15 years of professional experience in engineering consultancy, infrastructure, transportation, metro, mobility, or urban development projects. * Proven experience in multidisciplinary design coordination and project management. * Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder environments and coordinate international design teams. * Experience on large\-scale master planning, infrastructure, metro, mobility, or urban development projects is highly desirable. ### **Skills \& Competencies** * Strong project management and design coordination capabilities. * Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills. * Ability to work effectively within multicultural and multidisciplinary teams. * Strong organizational and reporting skills. * Client\-focused mindset with the ability to operate autonomously. ### **Languages** * Fluency in **Arabic and English is mandatory**. * French is considered a strong advantage. ### **Additional Assets** * Previous experience within the Setec Group or a similar international engineering consultancy would be appreciated. * Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian market and local authorities is a significant advantage. **What We Offer** ----------------- * The opportunity to work on a strategic, high\-profile development project in Saudi Arabia. * An international and collaborative working environment. * Direct exposure to key stakeholders, consultants, and major urban development initiatives. * A position with significant visibility and responsibility. **Start Date:** ASAP **Contract Duration:** Approximately 18 months \- and assignments on other exciting projects subsequently **To apply, please submit your CV highlighting your experience in design coordination, project management, and multidisciplinary infrastructure or urban development projects.**
