Job description
• Receive work assignments and job cards from the Workshop Supervisor.
• Review the job card, complete the checklist, and obtain necessary approvals before proceeding.
• Rectify defects and repair vehicles within the designated timeline.
• Repair structural damage by realigning car chassis and frames.
• Perform vehicle body and under-frame alignment.
• Remove and replace body panels, panel sections, and ancillary fittings as required.
• Ensure all parts are correctly reinstalled upon completion of repairs.
• Maintain vehicle presentation, including resetting equipment, accessories, and cleanliness.
• Keep tools organized and in proper working condition.
• Inform the Bodyshop Supervisor if additional parts need to be purchased.
• Identify additional work, non-conformances, or safety issues, and promptly communicate them to the Bodyshop Supervisor, documenting them on the job card.
• Clean and tidy the work area and all tools used, whether individually or collectively.
• Consult technical manuals, repair booklets, and other available documentation for guidance.
• Certification in paintless dent repair (PDR) from a recognized institution is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in using specialized dent repair tools and equipment, with a keen eye for detail.
