(Saudi National Only) Grade: G05 Location: RIYADH Working hours: full time Advert closing: 23/07/2026 JOB PURPOSE: Responsible to the RSAF Directorate of Communications and Information Technology (DCIT) Network Engineering and Computer Center (NECC) for the support for RSAF Data Centre Networks. Responsibilities The incumbent will: Install, maintain and troubleshoot network equipment within RSAF data centres Perform fault and problem management to meet the high availability and service levels expected of an RSAF Data Centre. Develop and maintain network documentation that includes process, procedures and relevant physical and logical network diagrams. Provide direct support for the planning, co-ordination, upgrade, enhancement and implementation of Data Centre networks. Contribute to long term network capacity planning and Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) Ensure stable performance through performance monitoring and tuning. Implement new and additional technologies that will improve the virtual networking infrastructure. Assess implications of emergency changes on processes and systems Job Requirements: The individual will be required to meet the following criteria: Minimum of 6 years experience in a data centre environment. Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE R&S), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP R&S), Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE), VMware Certified Professional 6 Network Virtualization (VCP6-NV), other industry certifications or equivalent experience. Bachelor s degree At least one relevant industry certification, training, and/or degree (CCNE preferred) Certified CCNP Data Center. Thorough knowledge of configuration management in a large data center environment. Demonstrated knowledge of internetworking systems topologies and architectures, protocols, fabric technologies and carrier services. Experience in design, implementation and 24 7 support of complex enterprise networks. Strong Switching and Routing knowledge specially on Cisco environment (experience with Extreme is added advantage) Knowledge in Extreme Technologies (LAN / WAN / Wireless). Hands on experience is preferred Experience with data center networking and cloud networking technologies. Experience in scalable networking design, including high availability, redundancy, failover and load balancing. Strong understanding of Network Security. Analyse business requirements to develop technical network solutions & evaluate emerging technologies. Solid troubleshooting skills including packet level analysis. Technical expertise with Cisco vPC, BGP, OSPF, Link Aggregation (LACP), QoS, traffic engineering, IPSEC, ACI, multicast, data security, VxLAN, eVPN. Experience with configuration and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus and Catalyst series switches and ASR series Routers. Hands on experience with firewalls Technology Good understanding of structured cabling standards. Experience with one or more third-party networking products such as F5, Juniper, Cisco, Splunk, InfoBlox, or Palo Alto Networks. knowledge of SDN virtual switching technologies including Cisco ACI and VMware NSX capabilities. He will be a skilled communicator. The role should be filled by someone with demonstrable recent experience in a Converged Infrastructure environment. Demonstrate an ability to diagnose problems and make objective decisions in order to rapidly put corrective actions on place. He will be a Saudi National.
