Data Center Operator

We are looking for a hands-on Data Center Engineer to support and maintain critical IT infrastructure at our facility. You'll be responsible for the day-to-day operational health of servers, network hardware, and physical data center systems, ensuring maximum uptime and rapid resolution of incidents. Key Responsibilities • Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, storage, and networking equipment (racking/stacking, cabling, hardware swaps) • Monitor data center environment (power, cooling, physical security) and escalate anomalies • Conduct routine hardware diagnostics, break-fix support, and part replacements (disks, RAM, PSUs, NICs) • Support remote hands requests from global NOC/engineering teams • Maintain accurate asset inventory and documentation of all equipment changes • Follow strict change management, safety, and security procedures within the facility • Respond to and resolve incidents within defined SLAs • Coordinate with vendors for equipment delivery, RMA, and on-site repairs Requirements • [2–5] years of hands-on experience in a data center, NOC, or IT infrastructure environment • Working knowledge of server hardware (Dell/HPE/Lenovo), basic networking (switches, patch panels, cabling standards) • Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, or similar) • Comfortable with physical work: lifting equipment, working in server rooms, rotating shifts • Basic Linux/Windows server troubleshooting a plus • Relevant certifications (CompTIA Server+, Network+, or vendor-specific) preferred but not required • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict operational procedures • English proficiency [add local language requirement if applicable, e.g. Arabic, English] What We Offer • [Salary/benefits — health insurance, transport allowance, housing allowance if applicable in the region] • On-the-job training and certification support • Opportunity to work with global infrastructure teams
