D365 Functioonal Consultant - F&O, Retail

The Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance \& Operations Functional Consultant will be responsible for supporting, optimizing, and continuously improving the organization’s live D365 F\&O (including Retail \& Commerce) system. The role acts as an internal IT functional owner, supporting business users, ensuring system stability and data accuracy, and coordinating with vendors where required to deliver reliable operations, reporting, and ongoing enhancements. **\*\*Kindly note that this is a full\-time position based onsite in Qatar\*\*** **Responsibilities:** **Functional Support \& System Optimization** * Act as the primary internal IT functional consultant for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance \& Operations, Retail \&Commerce. * Provide L1/L2 functional support to business users and resolve day\-to\-day system issues. * Analyze business requirements and translate them into system configurations and improvements. * Identify process gaps and recommend best\-practice, system\-driven solutions. * Ensure system stability, performance, and continuous optimization. Business Modules Support * Provide functional support across: o Finance (GL, AP, AR, FA) o Supply Chain \& Procurement o Inventory \& Warehouse o Retail, POS, Loyalty * Support month\-end, year\-end, and periodic closing activities. * Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and compliance. * Support audit requirements by providing system data and documentation. Stakeholder \& Vendor Coordination * Work closely with business users and internal IT teams to support operations and enhancements. * Coordinate with external vendors and Microsoft partners for issue resolution, fixes, and minor enhancements. * Manage and track change requests and system updates. * Maintain functional documentation and provide status updates to management. System Support \& Maintenance * Perform daily system monitoring, issue analysis, and root\-cause identification. **Support system upgrades, patches, and regression testing.** * Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using: o Power BI, SSRS, Excel, Management Reporter * Support management with KPIs and actionable insights. * Assist with form updates and report layout/design changes. **Qualifications, Experience and Skills:** * Strong hands\-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance \& Operations in a live ERP support environment. * Solid functional configuration knowledge across Finance, Supply Chain, Inventory, and Retail/POS. * Experience supporting post\-go\-live systems, including issue resolution and optimization. * Working knowledge of X\+\+, Visual Studio, and MorphX is preferred for reviewing and supporting syste customizations, with primary emphasis on functional understanding and end\-to\-end business process flow rather than technical development skills. * Experience with LCS, SQL Server, and system troubleshooting. * Strong reporting skills using Power BI, SSRS, Management Reporter, and Excel. * Exposure to Power Apps, Power Automate, OData/REST integrations, and Azure fundamentals. * Strong problem\-solving, communication, and stakeholder\-management skills.
