Job Title: Cyber Security Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a Cyber Security Specialist responsible for strengthening security posture through compliance, auditing, MSOC monitoring, Network Detection \& Response (NDR), Digital Risk Protection (DRP), and policy governance. The role focuses on identifying external threats, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting the organization’s digital presence from cyber risks.
**Key Responsibilities**
**1\. Compliance \& Governance**
Ensure compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and local regulations.
Perform regular compliance assessments and gap analysis.
Manage internal/external audits and track remediation.
Maintain risk registers, control documentation, and evidence.
Support enterprise risk management activities.
**2\. Security Auditing**
Conduct security audits, vulnerability assessments, and control reviews.
Evaluate access management, configurations, and system controls.
Identify findings and ensure remediation closure.
Prepare audit reports for management and regulators.
**3\. MSOC Monitoring**
Monitor security events using SIEM, SOAR, and SOC platforms.
Investigate alerts, perform incident triage, and escalate threats.
Work with MSOC providers or internal SOC teams.
Tune detection rules and reduce false positives.
Maintain continuous threat monitoring and reporting.
**4\. Network Detection \& Response (NDR)**
Operate and manage NDR tools for real\-time network threat detection.
Analyze traffic patterns to detect anomalies, lateral movement, and attacks.
Investigate suspicious activities and coordinate response.
Enhance detection use cases and threat intelligence integration.
**5\. Digital Risk Protection (DRP)**
Monitor external digital footprint including:
Brand impersonation
Phishing domains and fraudulent websites
Data leaks (dark web, paste sites)
Credential exposure
Use DRP platforms to identify and mitigate risks across surface, deep, and dark web.
Coordinate takedown of malicious domains and content.
Track and respond to cyber threats targeting the organization’s brand and assets.
Provide threat intelligence reports on emerging risks.
**6\. Policies \& Security Governance**
Develop, review, and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures.
Align policies with regulatory and industry standards.
Conduct awareness training for employees.
Maintain policy lifecycle management and version control.
Support implementation of Zero Trust / SASE frameworks.
**Required Skills \& Qualifications**
Education
*Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.*
Experience
*5\+ years in cybersecurity with exposure to SOC, compliance, or threat monitoring.*
Experience with digital risk protection platforms and external threat intelligence.
Technical Skills
SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, Sentinel)
NDR tools (Darktrace, Vectra, ExtraHop)
DRP tools (Recorded Future, Digital Shadows, RiskIQ, Cyble)
Strong understanding of:
Network security \& protocols
Threat intelligence
Incident response
Pay: QAR10,000\.00 \- QAR12,000\.00 per month
