Customs Clearance Officer - Bahraini

Job Overview We are looking for a **Customs Clearance Officer** with hands\-on experience in customs clearance procedures, government applications, and related documentation. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of Bahrain’s customs online system and be comfortable coordinating with various government authorities to ensure smooth and timely clearance of shipments. Key Responsibilities * Handle **import and export customs clearance** procedures and documentation. * Prepare and submit customs declarations and related applications through the **customs online system**. * Coordinate with relevant government authorities regarding approvals, permits, inspections, and clearances. * Manage applications and processes with authorities such as **MOH, SCE, MOIC, MOI, EWA**, and other relevant government entities. * Ensure all customs documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted on time. * Follow up on customs declarations, shipments, approvals, and outstanding requirements. * Coordinate with shipping companies, freight forwarders, transporters, and internal departments. * Resolve clearance\-related issues and delays with the relevant authorities. * Maintain accurate records of customs documents, permits, and transactions. * Ensure compliance with applicable customs regulations and government procedures. * Support other logistics and administrative activities related to import/export operations. Requirements * **1–2 years of relevant experience** in customs clearance or a similar role. * **Valid Customs Clearance License is mandatory.** * Good knowledge of the **Bahrain Customs online system**. * Experience dealing with Bahrain government authorities and online portals. * Practical knowledge of applications and procedures involving **MOH, SCE, MOIC, MOI, EWA**, etc. * Good understanding of customs documentation and clearance procedures. * Strong follow\-up and coordination skills. * Good communication and organizational skills. * Ability to work under pressure and meet clearance deadlines.
