Cost Controller

**Job Title: Cost Controller – F\&B Division** **Role Overview** **We are seeking a Cost Controller to join our Finance \& Operations team. The role is critical in ensuring effective cost management, budget control, and financial efficiency across our F\&B Brands such as: Cinnabon, Auntie Anne’s, Blaze Pizza, Burger King, La Romana, Brunch \& Cake, and Alusia.** **The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, hands\-on F\&B industry experience, and the ability to identify cost\-saving opportunities while supporting sustainable growth.** **Key Responsibilities** * **Budget preparation: Develop, track, and update budgets for multiple brands.** * **Cost monitoring: Analyze actual costs against planned budgets to identify variances and inefficiencies.** * **Financial reporting: Prepare detailed reports and present findings to management.** * **Expense reduction: Research and recommend cost\-saving measures; negotiate material costs with suppliers.** * **Market awareness: Maintain knowledge of local market prices to ensure competitive purchasing.** * **Operational efficiency: Visit and monitor retail outlets to assess wastage, losses, and efficiency.** * **Inventory control: Conduct physical inventory checks across shops.** * **Recipe pricing: Set and review recipe prices to ensure profitability.** * **Variance investigation: Investigate unprofitable variances and propose corrective actions.** * **Cost\-efficient solutions: Develop and implement strategies to optimize financial performance.** **Requirements** * **Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.** * **Experience: 2–3 years of proven experience in Food \& Beverage cost control.** * **Skills:** * **Strong analytical and numerical ability.** * **Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools.** * **Attention to detail and accuracy.** * **Excellent communication skills for reporting and advising management.** * **Language: English is a must; Arabic is an added advantage.** * **Nationality: Bahraini candidates are preferred.** Job Type: Full\-time Work Location: In person
