Job description

We are seeking an experienced CORTEX Operations Specialist to support, monitor, and manage CORTEX application operations within a banking environment. The role is responsible for ensuring system availability, operational stability, incident resolution, and effective coordination with technical and business teams. Key Responsibilities • Manage and support day-to-day CORTEX operations within the banking environment. • Monitor CORTEX applications, services, interfaces, and batch processing. • Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis. • Handle application alerts, failures, and operational issues within agreed SLAs. • Coordinate with infrastructure, database, middleware, network, and application teams. • Support deployment, release, patching, and production change activities. • Perform health checks and ensure high availability and system performance. • Manage incident, problem, and change requests using ITSM tools. • Prepare operational reports, incident analysis, and technical documentation. • Ensure compliance with banking security policies, operational controls, and audit requirements. • Participate in on-call and production support activities when required. • Minimum 5 years of experience in CORTEX Operations, Application Support, or Production Support. • Strong hands-on experience with CORTEX systems/applications. • Previous experience in banking or financial services is required. • Strong knowledge of production operations, incident management, and troubleshooting. • Experience with Linux/Unix, SQL, databases, and application monitoring tools. • Understanding of batch processing, system interfaces, APIs, and application integrations. • Familiarity with ITIL processes, Incident Management, Problem Management, and Change Management. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Good communication and stakeholder management skills. • Ability to work in a high-availability and critical banking production environment. Preferred Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • ITIL certification is preferred. • Experience supporting mission-critical banking applications and 24/7 production environments.
