**Job Title:** Corporate Legal Director **Company:** GIHOC Distilleries **Job Type:** Full\-time **About the Role** GIHOC Distilleries is seeking an authoritative and strategically minded **Corporate Legal Director** to lead our legal affairs, compliance framework, and governance strategies in Kuwait. In this senior executive role, you will act as the primary legal advisor to executive management, ensuring full alignment with local commercial codes, regulatory guidelines, international trade laws, and corporate governance standards. **Key Responsibilities** * **Legal Strategy \& Counsel:** Advise executive leadership on corporate governance, complex commercial transactions, joint ventures, and international commercial agreements. * **Regulatory Compliance:** Monitor and ensure absolute compliance with Kuwaiti commercial laws, labor regulations, import/export mandates, and industrial statutory frameworks. * **Contract Management \& Negotiation:** Draft, review, and negotiate high\-value commercial contracts, supply agreements, distribution deals, and vendor relationships. * **Risk Mitigation \& Dispute Resolution:** Identify operational legal risks, manage litigation and arbitration matters, and supervise external counsel when engaged. * **Corporate Governance:** Oversee board secretariat matters, statutory filings, shareholder documentation, and internal policy enforcement. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * **Education:** Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.M. / LL.B.) from an accredited institution; active legal license or bar admission required. * **Experience:** Minimum 10 years of corporate legal experience in a law firm or multinational corporation, with at least 4 years in a senior leadership or director role. * **Domain Expertise:** In\-depth working knowledge of Kuwaiti commercial code, GCC regulatory frameworks, international trade law, and corporate compliance. * **Skills:** Exceptional contract drafting, negotiation, executive communication, and strategic risk\-assessment capabilities. * **Language:** Professional fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) is required for legal documentation and government liaison. **What We Offer** * Competitive, tax\-free executive compensation package. * Executive health coverage and annual travel allowance. * Leadership autonomy within an international business ecosystem. * Full relocation support and end\-of\-service benefits per Kuwait labor regulations. الراتب المدفوع: KWD٠٫٠٠٠ لكل شهر موقع العمل: بشكل شخصي
