Job description

• Conduct legal research and provide practical advisory on international private client matters, including trusts, foundations, estate and succession planning, family offices, wealth preservation and cross-border structuring. • Design, review and support implementation of legally compliant and commercially viable structures across multiple jurisdictions. • Analyze legal, regulatory and commercial risks and recommend appropriate solutions. • Support cross-border transactions, restructurings and international expansion assignments. • Prepare legal memoranda, opinions, comparative analyses, client advisories and technical research. • Draft and review legal documents, agreements, governance documents and private client instruments. • Ensure all documentation is technically accurate, commercially practical and compliant with applicable laws. • Maintain complete and accurate engagement records and supporting documentation. • Independently manage assigned client engagements and act as a primary point of contact where required. • Understand client objectives and provide practical, solution-oriented legal advice. • Build and maintain strong client relationships through timely, professional communication. • Ensure timely completion of assignments while maintaining high quality standards. • Work closely with internal teams, external counsel and professional advisors to deliver integrated solutions. • Support due diligence, legal reviews, transactions and multidisciplinary assignments. • Coordinate effectively across jurisdictions and practice areas. • Take ownership of the quality and consistency of work product on assigned matters, ensuring appropriate review before delivery to the Partner or client. • Identify legal, regulatory and operational risks on engagements and escalate significant matters where appropriate. • Maintain compliance with the Firm's quality standards, internal controls and professional policies. • Recommend practical improvements to strengthen efficiency and client service. • Stay updated with legal and regulatory developments across relevant jurisdictions. • Contribute to technical publications, client alerts, research materials and knowledge repositories. • Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation and service delivery. • Contribute to developing new service offerings and practice initiatives. • Continuously build technical knowledge, commercial understanding and professional judgment. • Contribute to the Firm's thought leadership through articles, presentations, webinars and newsletters. • Support branding, business development and strategic initiatives of the Firm. • Demonstrate ownership, accountability and a proactive approach across all assignments. • Meaningful exposure to international private client, trusts/foundations, or cross-border structuring work. • Strong understanding of estate planning and succession corporate law, or foreign exchange transactions. • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. • Proficiency in both written and spoken English. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • High level of integrity and professional ethics.
