Core Banking Services Delivery Lead

**Job Description** ------------------- **Role Summary** ---------------- The Domain Services Delivery Lead will be responsible for leading the Domain Services workstream within a Core Banking Transformation program. The role focuses on designing, developing, and deploying BIAN\-aligned domain services and microservices, driving API\-first architecture, event\-driven integration, and business capability transformation from the core banking platform. **Required Experience \& Skills** --------------------------------- * 12\+ years of experience in Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, or Technology Delivery. * Minimum 5 years of hands\-on experience in API\-led and Microservices\-based solution delivery. * Strong knowledge of the BIAN (Banking Industry Architecture Network) Service Domain Model and implementation approaches. * Expertise in API\-first design, RESTful services, and OpenAPI 3\.0 standards. * Strong experience with event\-driven architecture, Kafka, and domain event\-driven design patterns. * Knowledge of Temenos T24/Transact architecture, IRIS APIs, and integration frameworks. * Experience delivering microservices and domain\-driven solutions within banking or financial services environments. * Strong understanding of integration architecture, service orchestration, and enterprise architecture principles. * Proven leadership, stakeholder management, and team management experience. * Excellent communication and executive presentation skills. **Job Description \- Grade Specific** ------------------------------------- **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Lead the delivery of BIAN\-aligned Domain Services, including design, development, testing, and deployment. * Define and execute the Domain Services strategy, including the 'hollow\-out' approach for extracting business capabilities from the core banking platform into standalone domain services. * Manage and mentor cross\-functional teams including Solution Designers, API Developers, Integration Specialists, and Architecture SMEs. * Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to define the Domain Services roadmap, scope, and implementation strategy. * Establish API governance standards and ensure compliance with BIAN principles, REST standards, and OpenAPI specifications. * Lead the design of orchestration services and integration patterns between domain services, core banking systems, and external applications. * Drive event\-driven architecture implementation, including Kafka\-based messaging, event schemas, and domain event management. * Coordinate with data and analytics teams to support event streaming, data integration, and reporting requirements. * Oversee testing activities, including API testing, integration testing, contract testing, and end\-to\-end validation. * Present project status, architecture decisions, risks, and recommendations to program leadership and governance forums. * Define and implement Domain Services operating models, covering API lifecycle management, versioning, security, and API gateway governance. * Lead specific business capability transformation initiatives and coordinate closely with core banking and integration teams.
