We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to manage contractual activities for landscape, civil, swimming pool, and water feature projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for contract administration, commercial management, claims, variations, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage all contractual aspects of landscape and civil construction projects from tender stage to final completion.
• Review contracts, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and commercial terms.
• Prepare, review, and negotiate subcontract agreements and supplier contracts.
• Monitor project progress, contractual obligations, risks, and deliverables.
• Manage variations, claims, extension of time (EOT), and contractual correspondence.
• Prepare and submit commercial reports, cost analysis, and contract status updates.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, QS teams, consultants, clients, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with FIDIC contracts, UAE regulations, and client requirements.
• Review payment applications, invoices, retention, and certification processes.
• Support dispute resolution and maintain proper contractual documentation.
• Identify commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations with clients, consultants, and suppliers.
• Ensure timely project close-out, final accounts, and handover documentation.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 8–12 years of experience in contracts management, with strong UAE landscape/civil construction experience.
• Proven experience handling landscape, irrigation, swimming pool, water feature, and civil construction contracts .
• Strong knowledge of contract administration, claims management, variations, and commercial procedures.
• Good understanding of FIDIC contracts, UAE construction practices, and subcontract management .
• Experience in preparing contractual letters, notices, EOT claims, and variation submissions.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, cost control, tendering, and project commercial management.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, ERP systems, and contract management software .
• Excellent negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with experience dealing with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• UAE/GCC experience in landscape or infrastructure projects is highly preferred.
• Candidates with UAE Driving License and immediate availability will be preferred.
