CONTRACTS MANAGER

**WE ARE HIRING – CONTRACTS MANAGER** **Location:** Qatar **Industry:** Infrastructure / Roads / Drainage We are seeking an experienced **Contracts Manager** to oversee contract and commercial management across multiple large\-scale infrastructure project sites in Qatar. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Manage and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, deliverables, and requirements. * Draft, review, and respond to formal contractual correspondence to protect the company's contractual and commercial position. * Identify contractual and project risks and develop effective mitigation strategies. * Lead the preparation and negotiation of **claims, variations, and Extension of Time (EOT)** submissions. * Ensure project activities comply with contract conditions, Qatar regulations, and company policies. * Support the negotiation and resolution of contractual disputes through appropriate mechanisms. * Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams on contractual and commercial matters. * Lead and mentor contract administrators and commercial teams across project sites. * Manage **Cost\-Plus Contracts**, including cost tracking, payment mechanisms, and transparency of reimbursable works. QUALIFICATIONS \& EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's degree in **Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management**, or a related discipline. * Minimum **15 years of experience** in contracts and commercial management. * Proven experience in **large\-scale roads, infrastructure, and drainage projects** is essential. * Experience with **PWA / Ashghal projects** is highly advantageous. * Strong understanding of **Cost\-Plus, Lump Sum**, and other common construction contract types. * **MRICS, MCIOB, CIArb**, or equivalent professional certification is highly preferred. SKILLS \& ATTRIBUTES * Excellent contract administration and commercial management skills. * Strong negotiation, communication, and contractual correspondence abilities. * In\-depth knowledge of construction laws, industry standards, and Qatar practices. * Strong expertise in claims, variations, EOTs, risk management, and dispute resolution. * Excellent analytical, problem\-solving, and decision\-making skills. * Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast\-paced environment. * Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team coordination skills.
