The Social Media Content Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and managing high\-quality content across all social media platforms to enhance brand presence, engagement, and growth. **Key Responsibilities:** 1\. **Content Creation \& Editing** · Create engaging, high\-quality content (captions, visuals, short\-form videos) · Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and brand alignment · Adapt content for different platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, etc.) · Ensure all content follows brand tone, style, and messaging guidelines 2\. **Content Planning \& Scheduling** · Develop and maintain a content calendar · Plan content around campaigns, seasons, and key events · Schedule posts using social media management tools · Ensure timely and consistent posting across platforms 3\. **Trend Research \& Innovation** · Stay updated with social media trends, formats, and algorithms · Suggest new content ideas (reels, trends, challenges, campaigns) · Benchmark competitors and industry best practices 4\. **Performance Monitoring \& Optimization** * Track content performance (reach, engagement, conversions) * Analyze insights and adjust content strategy accordingly * Identify trends and optimize content to improve results * Prepare basic performance reports **Qualifications and Skills:** Travel may be required based on client location. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or Marketing Editor ability required. · BA/BS degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or related field · Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role · Working knowledge of major social media channels is required. · Advanced knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Instagram, blogging and email marketing preferred. · Proven track record of successful market analysis and content creation · Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills · Experience with content management systems (CMS) · Proficiency in digital analytics tools · Strong interpersonal and communication skills · Ability to work under tight deadlines · Familiarity with SEO best practices · Familiarity with Photoshop, Canva, Google Workspace, or any social media scheduling tools.
