Content Creator & Video Editor (Agency Experience Required)

**About the Role** We are looking for a highly creative, agile, and detail\-oriented **Content Creator \& Video Editor** with proven **digital agency experience**. In this role, you will sit at the intersection of strategy, storytelling, and production. You’ll be responsible for bringing client brands to life across social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, Meta) by conceptualizing, shooting, and editing short\-form and long\-form video content that drives engagement and performance. Because you have agency experience, you know how to thrive in a fast\-paced environment, switch context between multiple client brands seamlessly, meet tight deadlines, and turn brand guidelines into high\-performing creative assets. **Key Responsibilities1\. Content Ideation \& Creation** * Collaborate with marketing strategists and account teams to brainstorm creative concepts, hooks, and storyboards for client campaigns. * Plan, shoot, and direct short\-form content (Reels, TikToks, Shorts) and long\-form brand video assets. * Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, viral audio, platform updates, and content formats to pitch fresh ideas for diverse client industries. **2\. Video Editing \& Post\-Production** * Edit raw footage into highly engaging, polished content customized for each platform (16:9, 9:16, 1:1 formats). * Incorporate dynamic motion graphics, kinetic typography, transitions, sound design, color grading, and trend\-based pacing. * Optimize content for user retention, click\-through rates, and platform algorithms. * Manage client feedback and revisions efficiently while adhering to fast agency turnaround times. **3\. Creative \& Asset Management** * Maintain client brand consistency across visual tone, messaging, and aesthetics. * Organize and archive raw footage, project files, and finished assets systematically. * Assist with on\-location video shoots (lighting, audio capture, staging) when required. **Qualifications \& Requirements** * **Agency Experience:** Minimum 2\+ years working in a creative, social media, or digital marketing agency environment managing multiple brands simultaneously. * **Portfolio:** A strong video reel/portfolio demonstrating expertise in short\-form content (Reels/TikToks), dynamic editing, motion graphics, and storytelling across various industries. * **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency with professional editing suites (**Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve**, or CapCut Pro). * Familiarity with graphic design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva). * Hands\-on experience operating cameras (DSLR/Mirrorless), mobile shooting gear, lighting setups, and lav/shotgun microphones. * **Workflow Competency:** Understanding of social video analytics, platform spec requirements, aspect ratios, and visual hooks that stop the scroll. * **Soft Skills:** Strong time management, high adaptability, clear communication, and the ability to take constructive feedback from clients and creative directors. **Nice\-to\-Haves** * Experience with **AI\-driven video tools** (e.g., Runway, Midjourney, AI voiceovers/captions) for workflow enhancement. * Basic copywriting skills for scriptwriting and caption drafting. * On\-camera confidence or experience hosting/acting in short\-form videos. **How to Apply** To apply, please submit your resume along with a **link to your portfolio/video reel** showcasing your short\-form and long\-form video editing work.
