Consultant - Petrophysicist - Program Design

**Job Purpose** Provide advanced petrophysical evaluation for conventional and unconventional reservoirs, including tight carbonates, by integrating log data, core analysis, geomechanics, and geochemical data to support exploration, appraisal, field development, and reservoir management activities. **Key Responsibilities** * Integrate routine and special core data (RCAL/SCAL) with well logs for advanced petrophysical modeling. * Integrate geochemical data, including TOC, pyrolysis, and mineralogy, with petrophysical interpretation to enhance unconventional reservoir characterization. * Evaluate special core analysis datasets, including adsorption/desorption and geochemical parameters, to define hydrocarbon storage mechanisms. * Interpret and integrate LWD, wireline, and mud logging data for real\-time formation evaluation. * Provide real\-time petrophysical interpretation and decision support during drilling operations. * Collaborate with mud logging teams to incorporate advanced mud gas analysis, isotopic data, and geochemical indicators. * Construct water saturation models, capillary pressure relationships, and net pay estimates. * Build and calibrate 1D Mechanical Earth Models (MEM) using core and log data. * Analyze borehole image and acoustic data to determine stress orientation and fracture systems. * Optimize well placement, completion strategies, and hydraulic fracturing design using geomechanical properties. * Evaluate TOC, brittleness indices, and reservoir quality to identify unconventional reservoir sweet spots. * Evaluate cased\-hole logging data for saturation monitoring, production logging, and reservoir surveillance. * Provide conditioned petrophysical inputs for static and dynamic reservoir models. * Support seismic integration and inversion workflows using calibrated petrophysical properties. * Perform uncertainty analysis and sensitivity studies to support decision\-making and Value of Information (VOI) assessments. * Apply and promote emerging technologies, digital solutions, and advanced analytics in formation evaluation. * Provide technical coaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to junior staff. * Lead technical reviews and contribute to workflow standardization and continuous improvement. * Perform log conditioning, environmental corrections, data validation, and integration of logs, cores, mud logs, and drilling data. * Ensure consistency between petrophysical, geological, and reservoir models. * Quantify petrophysical uncertainties, support VOI analysis and data acquisition planning, and perform sensitivity studies on key parameters. **Minimum Requirements** * Strong expertise in advanced log evaluation, including multi\-mineral modeling, saturation evaluation, and borehole image interpretation. * Proven experience in **Logging While Drilling (LWD)** and real\-time formation evaluation, including data QC and operational decision support. * Advanced knowledge of geomechanics, including **1D Mechanical Earth Modeling (MEM)**, pore pressure prediction, and fracture analysis. * Proven expertise in **Special Core Analysis (SCAL)**, with emphasis on TOC, geochemical characterization, and unconventional reservoir evaluation. * Strong experience in advanced mud logging and geochemical surveys, including real\-time gas analysis and compositional interpretation. * Hands\-on experience in operations petrophysics, including real\-time interpretation, data acquisition QC, and post\-well synthesis. * Experience working in complex onshore and offshore environments, including deviated and horizontal wells. * Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams. * Strong leadership, problem\-solving, communication, and mentoring skills. * Demonstrated awareness and application of new technologies, digital workflows, and emerging petrophysics tools. **Education \& Experience** * Bachelor’s degree in **Geology or Petroleum Engineering**;
