**Job Summary** Provide specialist petroleum engineering and stimulation evaluation for conventional and unconventional reservoirs in both onshore and offshore exploration activities, covering appraisal, field development, and reservoir management. The role includes medium\- and long\-term planning related to well completion, testing, stimulation, and workover activities, particularly for new discoveries, delineation and HPHT wells, secondary recovery, artificial lift, and effluent disposal. **Key Responsibilities** * Work closely with multidisciplinary exploration engineering and geoscience teams and coordinate with operations on completion design, well testing, post\-test stimulation, and production activities. * Plan and recommend well completion, testing, stimulation, and survey programs, and analyze results and operational data. * Support Long Term Testing (LTT), production and monitoring of new discovery wells through Early Production Facilities (EPF) or Gathering Centers (GC). * Support activities involving water injection, effluent disposal, and artificial lift. * Prepare workover, completion, testing, and stimulation programs, and finalize well testing and completion reports for both onshore and offshore operations. * Carry out coiled tubing activities, including well cleaning, lifting and fishing, well unloading using coiled tubing and nitrogen, cement squeeze, and water/gas shut\-off jobs. * Liaise with relevant KOC departments, Ministry of Oil representatives, consultants, drilling and production teams, and other stakeholders. * Plan and recommend testing programs for oil, condensate, and gas HPHT discoveries. * Provide functional guidance, training, and development to less experienced engineers. * Analyze and interpret cased\-hole logs, including **PLT, CBL, and corrosion logs**, as well as multiphase flow and nodal analysis. * Coordinate regularly with rigs and service companies. * Plan rigless operations for data acquisition and remedial activities, including **PLT, TDT, perforation, TTBP, acid stimulation, frac jobs, PTA, and slickline operations** for conventional and unconventional reservoirs. * Evaluate service company job performance and review invoices prior to payment. * Follow up artificial lift wells, including production, installation, troubleshooting, and production optimization. * Perform, analyze, and interpret Echo\-meter surveys to determine static and dynamic fluid levels in artificial lift wells. **Experience Requirements** * **21\+ years of demonstrable international upstream experience** with large and small international E\&P companies and ideally research institutes. * Middle East onshore and offshore exposure is considered an advantage. * Academic publications in recognized industry journals are highly considered.
