Job Title: Consultant of Neurology Job Code: NEUR-001 Grade: C Reporting to: Head of Neurology Your Impact • Reduce diagnostic turnaround time to under 48 hours for outpatient referrals • Achieve 90%+ patient satisfaction across neurology consultations • Maintain on-call response times within 30 minutes per hospital policy • Keep documentation compliance at 100% per EMR and department standards What you will do • Examine patients and diagnose neurological conditions to determine the appropriate course of management • Perform approved procedures according to your delineated privileges • Deliver specialist consultations to inpatient and outpatient services within your area of expertise • Review patient medical history and plan the most appropriate treatment • Prescribe and monitor treatment, identifying and managing risks or complications • Share on-call duties per hospital schedule and response-time requirements • Maintain accurate, legible documentation in line with EMR and department standards • Coordinate follow-up visits and monitor patient health status • Collaborate closely with colleagues across the multidisciplinary care team How success is measured • Accurate, thorough documentation completed in line with EMR and department standards • Minimized incident reports and efficient, cost-effective use of resources • Timely follow-up coordination and monitoring of patient health post-treatment • Safe care environment maintained for patients and staff • On-call availability and response within the hospital's prescribed timeframe • Effective communication and coordination across the multidisciplinary care team You will thrive here if you have… • 9+ years post-Doctorate/Fellowship experience in Neurology (12+ desirable) • MBBS/MBBCH, master's in the specialty, and Doctorate/Fellowship/Board Certification • Medical education from a Kuwait MOHE-approved university • Strong clinical judgement in high-acuity neurology cases Competencies we value • Clear, effective communication with patients and colleagues • Strong customer/patient focus in every interaction • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development • Unwavering values and ethics in clinical practice • Collaborative teamwork across multidisciplinary care teams
