The successful candidate will provide Consultant\-level care for patients with complex endocrine and metabolic disorders and contribute to high\-quality multidisciplinary care. **Key Responsibilities;** * Provide Consultant\-level assessment, diagnosis and management of endocrine and metabolic disorders. * Manage complex endocrine conditions and long\-term chronic disease. * Provide specialist management of diabetes and its complications. * Assess and manage thyroid, adrenal, pituitary and parathyroid disorders. * Manage calcium and metabolic bone disorders where appropriate. * Develop individualized treatment plans and provide ongoing patient follow\-up. * Work collaboratively with other medical and surgical specialties. * Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and clinical decision\-making. * Support teaching, mentoring and supervision of junior physicians. * Participate in clinical governance, audit and quality improvement activities. Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and patient safety. * ### **Requirements** **To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:** * Medical degree such as MBBS, MBChB or equivalent from a recognized institution. * Recognized postgraduate qualification in Internal Medicine. * Recognized postgraduate qualification/training in Endocrinology / Endocrinology and Diabetes / Diabetes \& Metabolism, as appropriate to the intended Consultant classification. * Substantial Consultant\-level experience in Endocrinology. * Recognized Western qualification required in accordance with the employer's criteria. * Must be eligible for SCFHS professional classification at Consultant level in Endocrinology. * Valid professional registration/licensing in the country of current practice. * Ability to provide the relevant qualification, registration and experience documentation required for SCFHS assessment and verification.
