Construction Engineer - Dewatering

Education : Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology, or a closely related engineering discipline. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil construction, with at least 5 years dedicated exclusively to large-scale dewatering and groundwater control systems. Project Track Record: Proven experience working on major infrastructure, deep basements, marine structures, or mega-projects ($1B+ value) involving deep excavations and high water tables. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of soil mechanics, hydrogeology, pumping equipment, and groundwater modeling data. Familiarity with instrumentation used for monitoring settlement and piezometric levels. Geographic Expertise: Experience in the Middle East (GCC region) is highly advantageous, particularly dealing with hyper-saline coastal aquifers or arid/desert geotechnical environments. Problem-Solving under Pressure: Ability to quickly troubleshoot pump failures, unexpected ground conditions, or sudden water ingress on a fast-paced construction site.
