Job description
We re looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join a growing team building LiDAR-based perception systems real-world 3D sensing solutions that power physical products, not just demos. This is a hands-on role: you ll take vision and sensing systems from prototype to production, working closely with hardware and firmware teams to get sensors, calibration, and algorithms working together reliably in the field. What You ll Do Design, build, and deploy computer vision pipelines for real-time detection, tracking, or 3D reconstruction Work with camera and/or depth sensor data (RGB, depth cameras, LiDAR) calibration, synchronization, and data quality Optimize models and pipelines for edge deployment (latency, memory, compute constraints) Integrate vision systems with hardware/firmware teams to bring solutions from prototype to production Build and maintain inference services (e.g., containerized APIs) with clean CI/CD practices Debug field issues across the stack from sensor hardware quirks to model performance Document system architecture and processes clearly for cross-functional teams
Must-haves: 3 5 years of experience in computer vision or applied ML engineering Strong Python skills; comfortable with OpenCV and standard CV/ML libraries Experience with real-time or near-real-time processing pipelines Solid Linux systems knowledge comfortable working outside a pure notebook/dev environment Experience deploying models to production (Docker, APIs, cloud or edge) Strong problem-solving instincts when things break in the real world, not just in code
