Job description
• Ensure the safe and compliant installation, inspection, and maintenance of all electrical and instrumentation equipment within hazardous (Ex) areas, adhering strictly to ATEX and IECEx standards.
• Develop and implement robust testing procedures for Ex-rated equipment, including intrinsically safe circuits, flameproof enclosures, and increased safety systems, to guarantee operational integrity.
• Perform detailed risk assessments and hazard analyses specifically for E&I systems in explosive atmospheres, identifying potential ignition sources and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Troubleshoot complex E&I system failures in hazardous zones, utilizing advanced diagnostic tools and techniques to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Hold a valid CompEx (Explosive Atmospheres) certification, covering relevant modules for hazardous area operations.
• Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Electrical and Instrumentation engineering within industries operating in hazardous environments .
