Community Trust Moderator **Company:** Gogocmon **Location:** Muscat, Muscat Governorate, Oman **Area:** Al Ghubra Industrial **Salary:** OMR 1,950 per month **Job Type:** Full\-time Job Overview Gogocmon is seeking an experienced and responsible **Community Trust Moderator** to help maintain a safe, respectful, and trustworthy online community. The successful candidate will monitor user\-generated content, enforce community guidelines, investigate reports, identify harmful or inappropriate activity, and work with internal teams to improve platform safety and user trust. Key Responsibilities * Monitor user\-generated content, discussions, profiles, and community activity. * Review reported content and determine appropriate actions based on community guidelines. * Identify spam, harassment, abuse, scams, misinformation, and other policy violations. * Apply moderation policies consistently, fairly, and objectively. * Investigate complex or escalated user reports and community incidents. * Maintain accurate records of moderation decisions, incidents, and enforcement actions. * Escalate serious or high\-risk cases to appropriate safety, legal, or management teams. * Identify emerging abuse patterns and recommend improvements to moderation policies and processes. * Collaborate with product, customer support, legal, security, and engineering teams on trust and safety initiatives. * Provide feedback on community guidelines and help improve moderation workflows. * Analyze moderation data and prepare reports on trends, risks, and community health. * Support the development of moderation tools, workflows, and automated detection systems. * Help train and coach moderators on policies, procedures, and best practices. * Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive user reports and platform information. * Stay informed about online safety trends, emerging abuse methods, and digital community standards. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Social Sciences, Psychology, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. * Proven experience in content moderation, trust and safety, community management, customer support, or a similar role. * Strong understanding of online communities, platform policies, user behavior, and digital safety. * Excellent judgment and ability to make consistent decisions in challenging situations. * Strong analytical, investigative, communication, and problem\-solving skills. * Ability to handle sensitive information professionally and confidentially. * Experience using moderation platforms, ticketing systems, CRM tools, or data\-analysis software is an advantage. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively under time\-sensitive conditions. * Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts when required. * Professional proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
