**\\>\>** Position: **Cook / Commis (International Cuisine)** Starting Salary: **SAR 2,000 \- SAR 2,500 with FREE shared room and transportation** **Job Role:** The Commis Chef is an entry\-to\-mid\-level kitchen professional who supports senior chefs across all cuisine stations. Reporting to the Chef de Partie, this role is designed for culinary talent eager to develop practical skills across French, Italian, Arabic, and Indian cooking in a high\-quality, fast\-paced GCC restaurant environment. **Key Responsibilities:** * Support the Chef de Partie with daily mise en place: vegetable prep, sauces, stocks, portioning, and station setup across French, Italian, Arabic, and Indian sections. * Assist during service with prep tasks and plating, maintaining speed and accuracy throughout busy periods. * Follow all recipes, portion weights, and quality standards exactly; report any ingredient shortfalls or equipment issues immediately. * Keep your workstation clean and organised before, during, and after service; apply FIFO stock rotation at all times. * Comply with personal hygiene standards, HACCP protocols, GCC food\-safety regulations, and halal handling requirements. * Work flexibly across stations as directed and contribute positively to a multicultural team. **Requirements** * 1–2 years of kitchen experience preferred, or strong culinary school training with a passion for multi\-cuisine cooking. * Eager to learn, physically fit for a fast\-paced environment, and comfortable working within a diverse brigade.
