Commis I – Garde Manger

We are seeking a skilled and motivated **Commis I – Garde Manger** to join our **Centralized Commissary Kitchen**. The ideal candidate will have experience in cold kitchen preparation and be committed to maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency. Key Responsibilities * Prepare salads, sandwiches, cold appetizers, dressings, and other cold kitchen items. * Assist in the preparation of ingredients for daily production. * Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and quality standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the Garde Manger section. * Follow food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards at all times. * Monitor stock levels and inform supervisors of shortages. * Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating products using the FIFO/FEFO method. * Support the kitchen team to meet daily production requirements. Requirements * Minimum **2 years of experience** as a **Commis I – Garde Manger** or in a Cold Kitchen, preferably in a hotel, restaurant, catering company, or central production kitchen. * Knowledge of salads, cold appetizers, sandwiches, and food presentation. * Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced environment. * Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn. * Previous experience in a centralized commissary or catering kitchen is an advantage.
