Hot Kitchen Cook/Commis ​Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Hot Kitchen Commis who embodies the NOMAD spirit of curiosity and precision. This role is about mastering the "Handcrafted" philosophy—respecting raw ingredients and maintaining the high\-level artistry our kitchen is known for. ​Key Responsibilities: Preparation \& Production: Prepare mise\-en\-place for hot kitchen stations including meats, sauces, fruits\&vegetables, and garnishes according to established NOMAD recipes. Station Maintenance: Ensuring the workstation, equipment, and storage areas are clean, sanitary, and organized. Cooking \& Plating: Cook and present hot meals following precise standard recipes and plating rules. Stock Management: Managing inventory, including proper labeling, storage, and rotating of ingredients. Equipment Control: Regulate temperature of ovens, grills, fryers, and other kitchen equipment. Hygiene \& Safety: Follow strict food safety and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) rules while keeping the station clean. ​Requirements: 2\+ years in a high\-end culinary environment, strong leadership potential, and the ability to thrive under pressure. ​Company Culture Statement: "At NOMAD Coffee, we don't just serve; we curate.
