Commis Chef - Main Kitchen

We are looking for a motivated, hardworking, and reliable **Commis Chef / Entry\-Level Line Cook** to join our Main Kitchen team at a classy, high\-end restaurant in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior kitchen professional who is passionate about cooking and eager to develop their skills in a professional restaurant environment. Key Responsibilities * Assist senior chefs with daily food preparation and kitchen operations. * Prepare ingredients and basic dishes according to recipes and instructions. * Assist with mise en place before and during service. * Support the assigned kitchen section during busy service periods. * Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work station. * Properly store, label, and rotate food products. * Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures at all times. * Assist with stock preparation and help minimize food wastage. * Work effectively as part of the kitchen team. * Follow instructions from senior chefs and maintain a positive, professional attitude. Main Requirements * Previous kitchen experience is preferred, but **entry\-level candidates with culinary training are welcome to apply**. * Basic knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques. * Culinary school or relevant hospitality training is an advantage. * Passion for cooking and willingness to learn. * Good teamwork and communication skills. * Strong work ethic and positive attitude. * Ability to work efficiently in a fast\-paced kitchen environment. * Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety. * Physically fit and able to work flexible shifts. * Willingness to work weekends and public holidays.
