**Entry\-level kitchen position** **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist senior chefs (Commis 1, Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie) with basic food preparation * Wash, peel, cut, and prepare vegetables, meats, and other ingredients (mise en place) * Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of workstation, equipment, and utensils * Follow standard recipes and portion sizes as instructed * Learn and follow kitchen safety and food hygiene (HACCP) standards * Store food items properly and check stock levels * Assist with basic cooking tasks under supervision * Report equipment issues or shortages to seniors **Requirements:** * Basic culinary training/certificate or diploma (or currently pursuing one) * 0–1 year of kitchen experience * Basic knowledge of kitchen tools, hygiene practices, and food safety * Physically fit; able to stand for long hours * Willingness to learn and take instructions Commis 1 (Senior Commis) **Mid\-level kitchen position** **Key Responsibilities:** * Independently prepare and cook simple to moderately complex dishes * Supervise and guide Commis 2/3 in daily tasks * Ensure mise en place is completed accurately and on time * Maintain portion control, presentation standards, and recipe consistency * Assist Chef de Partie in a specific section (e.g., grill, sauce, pastry, cold kitchen) * Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory/ordering * Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards * Step in for Chef de Partie duties when required **Requirements:** * Culinary diploma/certification * 1–3 years of relevant kitchen experience * Good understanding of cooking techniques, food costing, and kitchen operations * Ability to work under pressure in a fast\-paced environment * Basic leadership/team coordination skills Job Types: Permanent, Full\-time Pay: BD250\.000 per month Ability to commute/relocate: * Manama: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Experience: * Food \& Beverages: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
