As a **Food \& Drink Order Taker** , you’re not just providing food and drink service – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest. Here's what you'll do during a typical day: * **Handle F\&D requests:** Receive, record, and process guest food and beverage orders promptly and professionally. * **Coordinate with F\&D operations:** Communicate with the Kitchen, Restaurant, Room Service, and other departments to ensure orders are prepared and delivered accurately and on time. * **Maintain accurate records:** Enter guest orders, special requests, charges, and service details accurately into the hotel operating system/POS. * **Support guest satisfaction:** Respond to guest requests courteously, confirm order details, follow up on delivery times, and ensure requests are resolved according to Hilton service standards. * **Manage order updates:** Monitor the status of pending orders and coordinate any changes, cancellations, or special requests with the relevant F\&D team members. * **Ensure operational accuracy:** Verify food and beverage charges, billing information, and order details to minimize errors. * **Ensure smooth operations:** Follow up on pending orders and guest comments while supporting the F\&D team in delivering exceptional service and memorable guest experiences. **What It Takes to Make the Stay** At Hilton, our core values define what it takes to succeed here and guide the qualities we look for in every team member: A passion for spreading the light and warmth of **Hospitality** .
