Civil Technical Support Engineer

**Career Opportunity – HVAC Draftsman \& Estimator** Location: NAFFCO Qatar The **Civil Technical Support Engineer** is responsible for providing technical support for civil engineering works, reviewing drawings and technical documents, assisting with site and design\-related issues, and ensuring that civil works are executed in accordance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable standards. The role involves close coordination with civil engineers, project managers, consultants, contractors, and other disciplines to resolve technical issues and support the timely and quality completion of projects. **Key Responsibilities:** * Provide technical support for civil engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle. * Review civil drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance. * Assist in resolving technical issues related to civil works, construction, and site activities. * Coordinate with civil engineers, consultants, contractors, and other MEP disciplines. * Review and respond to technical queries, RFIs, and site\-related issues. * Assist in reviewing shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and as\-built drawings. * Monitor civil works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements. * Support site inspections and identify technical discrepancies or construction issues. * Assist in preparing technical reports, inspection records, and project documentation. * Coordinate design changes and ensure relevant technical information is properly communicated to site teams. * Support quantity verification, material requirements, and technical evaluations when required. * Ensure civil works comply with applicable codes, standards, health and safety requirements, and quality procedures. * Provide technical assistance during testing, inspections, handover, and project closeout activities. **Qualifications \& Experience:** * Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field. * 2–5 years of experience in civil engineering, construction, technical support, or a related role.
