Civil Supervisor - Oil & Gas

**Key Responsibilities**: * **Site Supervision**:\- * Oversee all civil construction activities and ensure they are carried out according to approved designs, drawings, and specifications. * Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets. * Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. * **Quality Assurance**:\- * Conduct inspections and ensure quality standards are met throughout all phases of construction. * Identify and resolve any construction quality\-related issues in a timely manner. * **Health \& Safety Compliance**:\- * Enforce safety protocols and ensure all work complies with local safety regulations and company policies. * Conduct regular safety audits and toolbox talks with workers to promote a safe working environment. * **Coordination and Communication**:\- * Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure smooth execution of the project. * Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to maintain efficient workflow. * Report daily progress, potential delays, and other issues to project managers. * **Documentation and Reporting**:\- * Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, material use, and workforce attendance. * Prepare progress reports and submit them to the project management team. * **Problem Solving**:\- * Troubleshoot on\-site issues and propose actionable solutions to keep the project on track. * Address design discrepancies or unforeseen challenges by consulting with relevant stakeholders. **Qualifications**:\- * Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field. * Proven experience as a Civil Supervisor in construction or infrastructure projects. * Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations. * Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings. * Proficient in project management tools and software. * Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. **Key Skills**:\- * Knowledge of construction best practices and safety standards. * Problem\-solving and decision\-making abilities. * Strong attention to detail. * Ability to manage multiple teams and prioritize tasks effectively. * Competence in preparing and presenting reports.
